Hola a todos,

Googleando he encontrado una especie de Multijuegos Jamma pero que lleva una FLASH CARD!,

vamos como un BLUE ELF pero se supone ampliable?

la cosa es que no encuentro mucha info o analisis de gente...dando su opinion...,

por el tamaño y estilo tipo mini PC...imagino que la potencia estara justita...,pero me parece buena idea lo de la tageta,

a ver si me contais que tal tira eso...en comparacion con un Blue elf por ejemplo...,

JAMMA ARCADE X86 PCB (vaya denominación más genérica!), como ya sabes, es una PCB multijuegos, que se acopla al conector jamma y que lleva el front-end y los juegos dentro de la Memoria Flash.

Sí, se pueden modificar los juegos de la tarjeta flash (añadir, sustituir, quitar). Eso no habrá problema.

El sistema operativo y frontend están basado en MS-DOS (6.22 O FREEDOS). Sólo es para máquinas clásicas con chasis de vídeo a 15 Khz.

La cuestión sería, cuántos y cuales juegos trae el JAMMA ARCADE X86 PCB? Los ejecuta bien?, Tiene suficiente potencia?, la emulación es buena?, etc.

Hola,

Si es como en esos otros tipo TRANSFORMERS...sinceramente me parece incluso cuestionable que se pueda sacar al mercado un producto asi,

me parece que emula MUY mal los juegos,la verdad es que me sorprendio para mal ese Multijuegos,

no se que criterio siguen para decidir que juegos meter dentro...pero echale un vistazo al FINAL FIGHT emulado en este ultimo 485 en 1,

no te lo creeras,

a ver si sale info sobre este cacharro...,

First of all sorry: I can't speak spanish so I hope you won't mind too much if I use english.
Some weeks ago, I bought some old jamma boards at a flea market, among them I found exactly the one this thread is about.
I could boot DOS 6.22 and even managed to run some graphic programs (320x200x8bit stuff) I wrote back 20+ years ago, but I still miss a lot of information about this board.
Basically I don't know how to interact with it using jamma controls, moreover I guess it's got somewhat a custom VGA controller.
Do any of you have information/datasheet/whatever about this board?

Hi Balle, thanks for your answer.
I didn't try anything yet, beside installing DOS 6.22 and starting some old 320x200 stuff I wrote years ago.
The most annoying problem is I can't interact with the operating system because I don't know the mapping of Jamma controls. Maybe I should load a driver or a TSR in autoexec.bat... But I'm totally lost.
I may try to use serial port, still I would need a server DOS side.
What is "reescaler"? I checked on google but I didn't find anything relevant to Jamma/DOS topic...
